What the app collects

• Google Account email address — used only to identify your account for sign-in. Regimen does not request access to your contacts, Gmail, files, or any other Google data beyond your basic profile (email and name).
• Workout data you enter in the app — routines, workout sessions, sets/reps/weight, cardio entries, body measurements, and app preferences (units, theme). This is the same data the app stores locally on your device; it is copied to the cloud only so it can sync across your own devices.
• Heart rate and active calorie data from Health Connect — optional, and off by default. If you turn this on in the app's Health Connect settings, Regimen reads heart rate and calorie records that another app on your device (e.g. Google Health, Samsung Health) has already written to Android's on-device Health Connect store, and attaches a summary to the matching workout in your history. Regimen never talks to those other apps or their services directly, and this data stays on your device — it is not uploaded anywhere, even if you're signed in and syncing your other workout data to the cloud.

How it's used

Your data is used solely to back up and sync your own workout data across your own devices signed in with the same Google Account. It is not used for advertising, analytics, or any purpose other than making the app work for you.

Health Connect data is used solely to show heart rate/calorie numbers alongside the matching workout in your history - nothing more.

Where it's stored

Workout data you sync is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), scoped so that only your own signed-in account can read or write it. No other user of the app can see your data, and the developer does not access it except as needed to fix bugs.

Health Connect data (heart rate/calories) is stored only in the app's local database on your device, never in Firestore or any other cloud service.

Sharing

Your data is never sold or shared with any third party. It is not used for ads or analytics.

Deleting your data

You can delete your synced cloud data at any time from the app's Account screen using Delete cloud data, or stop a device from syncing using Sign out — both are actions within the app itself.

Revoking Regimen's access from your Google Account permissions page does not delete your cloud data or stop syncing on its own — it only affects Google sign-in, not the app's existing session. Use Sign out or Delete cloud data in the app for that.

Uninstalling the app removes all data stored locally on your device, including any Health Connect data. You can also turn off Health Connect access at any time in the app's Health Connect settings, or revoke Regimen's access entirely from Health Connect's own permissions screen.
